Brick Biter – fourFOLD

Brick Biter

‘Staring down at your boots, awaiting yet another demolition you blur out in a fit of coughs. Your feet on dry earth, your head in a cloud, Brick Biter’s assembly of narrators pitch in: to recall and edit your memory of being elsewhere, feeling pressed.’

MAC International

‘Starting from an account of a monument dedicated to the fallen during a war being moved internationally and playing off a motto inscribed onto this monument ‘Quis Seperabit’, a chain of collisions and associations are set off in this piece. A sculpture gets up and wanders across a world of other sculptures and assemblages as a narration wanders along too. Situated between optimism and dread, this work draws on the look of museum objects, advertising and transitory spaces to articulate the feeling of being surrounded by appeals beckoning’s to be part of a present, whilst being called to look at a past as it flows and leaks toward us now.’
